Specialist in General Surgery; during his training, he worked under the supervision of a General Surgeon with extensive experience in plastic surgery (a disciple of Prof. Fernando Paredes, General and Plastic Surgeon who taught Plastic Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon), thereby acquiring skills to perform surgeries in this field.

He worked in the Portuguese National Health Service (SNS) in the areas of breast reconstruction, treatment of gigantomastia, and reduction of abdominal pannus, having left his public hospital practice in 2007.

Specialist in Anti-Ageing Medicine since 2005 by the University of Charleroi.

Also in 2005, he obtained certification in hypnotherapy from the London College of Clinical Hypnosis.
